The Institute of Medical Research and Training (IMRAT) team led by the Director Prof. O.A. Bolarinwa has just secured a competitive
research grant from the Clinton Health Action Initiative (CHAI) to conduct a Nigerian heal
workforce pre-service training assessment and pipeline analysis modelling.
This grant is worth over 100 Million Naira
The IMRAT Team comprises;

  1. Prof. O.A Bolarinwa: Professor of Public health and health service management. (Director
    and Principal Investigator)
  2. Prof. A.G Salaudeen: Professor of Public Health and International Health. (Co-PI /
    Quantitative study Expert)
  3. Prof. R.A Bello: Professor of Economics, special bias for health economics. (Co-Researcher/
    Economist / Costing expert)
  4. Dr. H.A Ameen: Ass. Professor of health promotion and social science. (Co-Researcher
    Member/Qualitative study Expert)
  5. Dr. M.Y Adana: Associate Professor of Neuroscience and Anatomy. (Co-Researcher
    Member/ Quantitative study Expert)
  6. Dr. B.W Alatishe Muhammed: Consultant Public Health Physician and Lecturer. (CoResearcher Member/ Qualitative /costing study Expert)
  7. Prof. T.M Akande: Professor of health management (Advisor/Mentor)
